For design-minded homes that want rooms with lasting character

NomadTapis gathers handmade Berber rugs, poufs, and cushions so a salon, chambre, or entrée feels collected—not covered. Wool pile, kilim pattern, and quiet geometry sit on stone or timber as heirlooms for the room, not a generic floor finish.

18 feather

Beni Ouarain underfoot

Ivory fields and dark lozenges give a living room a calm, architectural floor—soft wool you notice when you cross the room in socks.

18 image mountain

Azilal and Boujaad colour

Hand-drawn motifs and mineral colour sit like a painting on the floor, so a chambre or salon reads as considered, not catalogue-matched.

18 gem sparkle

Poufs and coussins in the same language

Kilim and Beni Ouarain seating and cushions continue the weave onto sofas and low tables—one textile story from floor to seat.

Living with the piece

Choose the format the room already asks for petit to très grand

Handmade textiles settle into daily life when the size matches how you actually walk, sit, and sleep. We name formats the way French interiors are used—not as abstract centimetres on a warehouse shelf.

  • 01

Petit for entries and tight floors

Under 120×170, a petit rug or round tapis marks the threshold without crowding a narrow entrée. Shoes come off onto wool, not a leftover runner.

  • 02

Moyen where you sit every evening

120 toward 160×230 holds a sofa conversation in the salon: front legs on the pile, a pouf nearby, the weave in the corner of your eye.

  • 03

Grand and très grand for the whole room

200×300 and 250×350+ let a chambre or salon rest on one field of wool, so furniture feels placed rather than floating on bare boards.

Craft, not catalogue

Why a loom-made textile is not a printed floor

The difference is character you live with: irregular geometry, named village traditions, and pieces that belong together. Price here buys uniqueness, not a race on thickness scores.

Collections named Beni Ouarain, Azilal, Boujaad, and kilim poufs—not anonymous SKUs.

How do I pick between petit, moyen, grand, and très grand?

Use petit (−120×170) for compact floors and entries, moyen (120 toward 160×230) under seating, grand 200×300 for a full salon or chambre, and très grands 250×350+ when furniture should sit entirely on the textile. Round tapis are listed separately when a circle suits the plan.

Can I mix a rug with poufs and cushions?

Yes. The shop includes tapis, poufs (including kilim and Beni Ouarain), coussins berbères, plaids, and wall décor so one palette can run from floor to sofa.

Which pieces belong in salon, chambre, or entrée?

Browse Tapis de Salon, Tapis de Chambre, and Tapis Entrée, then refine by ivory, noir et blanc, or couleur. The same weave families appear across rooms; scale is what changes.

Do you ship to France?

Yes. Orders dispatch to France with international shipping shown at checkout. Gift cards (carte cadeau) are available if you prefer someone else to choose the textile.
